It is the patient's responsibility to ensure their insurance covers nutrition counseling. Patients can do this by calling the customer service line on the back of their card and asking the benefits for nutritional counseling. This should be under preventative care. Patients will be responsible for any costs not covered by their insurance, and an invoice will be sent to the client if anything is not covered.
Insurance only covers nutrition consultations. If you are needing further assistance such as macronutrient monitoring, coaching, or easier access to your dietitian, additional fees can be applied in a monthly membership.
Special discounts are also available throughout the year and to certain populations including active and retired military and spouses (military ID required), first responders (police, firefighters, EMT, Paramedics), and college students (enrollment verification needed).
